At A Crossroad October 2008

We seem to be at a crossroad in this day and age, as media flames the fires of immorality and corruption in many forms, Hollywood works hard to distort God’s Truth. We discover many people once walked with the Lord with a great fervent fire, yet they have, let go of, “The Pearl of Great Price, Jesus,” exchanging this great Pearl for the things of this world, which in time will only pass away. Jesus seems to be somewhere just not the priority of their hearts. We have been warned; guard your heart with all diligence…! God’s Word will always stand the test of time; I want to encourage you! We know many years back the Apostle Paul warned us in the last days we shall see evil times arise more and more.

Can we stop this new law in California, “Legalizing Gay Marriage?” Maybe! But why is this law even in the making? Saints, we have NOT been doing our job, we must speak God’s Word with power, and truth. Reaching out to the lost and dying world, we are called to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Our Bible tells us, many people will be deceived in the last days, God’s Word NEVER lies, II Timothy 4: 2-10 “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. Be diligent to come to me quickly; for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia.”

Apostle Paul knew what we would come against. I want you to remember, WE HAVE THE VICTORY, in Jesus…! If we hold tight to God’s Word, the Cross of Calvary, and obey God’s Word. Then we have nothing to fear, we shall make it through every trial, and every storm of life. TROUBLE COMES, when we know what to do, and do NOT do it, we find ourselves in confusion, and NOT in the favor of our Almighty God…!

Remember, it is better to obey than to sacrifice…! I Samuel 15: 22-23, remember God’s Word is our ruler for life, it is the Master’s plan, His Word, the BIBLE is your life Giver, OBEY Today…!
