Single Parenting

Jesus is always ready to answer a heartfelt cry. My children were very young when my husband died. My son was only two years old, and I was pregnant with my daughter when he was killed. We had no insurance, I was young and not sure what I was going to do, at the time of my husband’s death. I was not a Christian; my life seemed like it was so shook up. It was as if the rug had just been pulled from underneath me. I was filled with fear, anger, and deep pain in my heart.

A few years later I became a Christian, my whole life changed, I realized, I never had to be alone, the Lord would be with me and help me through each and every day’s decisions. God’s wisdom will help lead your every step and He will never leave you alone. Are you a single mother? Are you finding yourself looking for love through one relationship after another? STOP…! Jesus will be with you and help you with all your needs. He will be your husband, the Bible says in,

Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. For the LORD has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused,” Says your God. “For a mere moment I have forsaken you, but with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the LORD, your Redeemer.

Single mom, dad, you are important to our Heavenly Father, His love for you never ends. I’m preparing my new a book called “Single Parent, You are Never Alone.” It will walk you through steps in helping you make decisions for your family. I want you to please consider, not looking for a mate, while you have children at home. Those children should be your first priority, they need you more than you realize. Trying to juggle dating and in and out of one relationship after another does not make for not a good foundation for the kids. You will have plenty of time for a relationship, but first, let’s get those wonderful gifts from the Lord raised. Your reward is great…!
