Speaking in tongues is quite a controversy among many Christians, from different churches.
Yet the Holy Spirit is so important to understand, how does one bring understanding?
The other
day while laying in my bed, I woke up with the thought?
How do I explain, the Holy Spirit?
Then something came to my mind, my daughter Kaweah is a dare angel, (not daredevil), she rides
every ride at Six Flags with ease, or jumps off any challenging bungee jump.
She is waiting for
an opportunity when she can skydive, and jump right out of that plane.
One day we were out walking by the beach, when her eye caught something.
She grabbed my arm and
pulled me as she picked up her speed, walking what seemed like 90 miles an hour.
“Come on mom,
ride this ride with me,” she said to me as she was pointing up.”
As I turned and looked up at
the bars holding this strange swing, it must have been over 150 feet high.
I looked at my
daughter, as she was looking up I noticed this wild look in her eye, and her funny grin….
She had a strange “mad woman” look, and that spark in her eye.
It said to me…NO WAY!
I am not getting on that ride for nothing.
She stood right beside me, and tried to convince
me over and over, “Come on mom, you will love it, it’s great; it’s a blast, it so fun, just
one time!”
As I thought about that day, no matter how my daughter tried to convince me of the wonderful joy
I would experience if I would just give in and give that ride a try, I would not be convinced.
No matter what people tell you about the Holy Spirit, I believe when you are personally ready,
you will take that step of faith.
I will never forget the day the Holy Spirit touched me in
a special way.
I have not been the same since that day.
Something you need to experience!
Go ahead, ask the Lord!
I might find you with that wild look in your eye, as you try to
convince others about the Holy Spirit.
God gave us a powerful tool, prayer, and Holy Spirit power!
The Holy Spirit
loves you, have a life filled with His boldness to witness!
After all He, our Heavenly Father loves YOU!...
