As I sat beside her hospital bed, I opened my Bible and read scriptures about being with the Lord.
She looked at me smiled, and we sang together for about 30 minutes, “The Old Rugged Cross,” “How Great Thou Art,” and many of the old wonderful hymns. Tears came to her eyes,
and I said heaven is a wonderful place; she wanted reassurance of salvation, so I prayed with her.
As I looked up after our prayer, she had tears running down her face, then in her sweet voice she said, “I want my prayer language.” I could see such comfort in her eyes, I reached over and laid my hand on her head and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Within just seconds,
she started to pray in tongues, what sweet prayer, we prayed for over 20 minutes in the Spirit. Then Mrs. Langston touched my hand, tears running down her face like a fountain.
She then looked up into sky, and said to me, “Can you hear that? I’m singing with angels, He loves me, Jesus really loves me.” She was smiling like I had never seen before,
and had such a glow. I knew she saw Jesus, I tried to hold back the tears, but started to weep. I knew at that very moment, Mrs. Langston was soon to go home to be with Jesus.

I felt the Lord’s presence so strong, I told her it was ok to go to Jesus; she reached for my hand again and said “What about Fred?”
By this time, I could not hold back my weeping. I was trying to be strong, as I saw such an overwhelming love for her husband in that
single moment. I told her, “Mrs. Langston, do not worry, we will take care of him, I promise.” Both of us cried, I stood and gave her
a kiss on the forehead. I knew that afternoon she had God’s Divine touch and Peace. Mrs. Langston then smiled, laid her head down and
was fast asleep like a baby.
Within a few days, she was out of the hospital, and very frail, I knew it was just matter of days. Sitting once again,
beside her bed, she was slipping from this old world into eternity. The bible talks about a valley each believer must
go through.
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Mrs. Langston had that special comfort with the Lord. One day we shall see her again, and we shall rejoice together.
Her request was the care of the one she loved and cherished for over 57 years. Together we can accomplish the place we need to build for this very special man.
If you have ever met this man, you would know why she loved him so dearly. He is a gem, and loves Jesus with all his heart. Losing their home in the Witch Creek Fire and all their belongings,
he has stood through that trial.
And now he shall stand again, only this time, no material thing can even compare to the hole deep with in his heart.
Although Mr. Langston knows she is in the loving arms of Jesus, only few will ever really understand losing your best friend, wife, and women who bore
five wonderful children. The tears, laughter, joy, trust, pain, and commitment to one another, far beyond what most people really understand.
Let’s get this home built, PLEASE, We cannot delay, please give! Please help us, join with us to accomplish this home for Mr. Langston; you can give online today,
please do not wait thinking others will give. Is the Lord speaking to your heart? Give now!

From Dr. Luauna's Desk!
A thought for the Day!
When Abraham offered Lot a choice of pastures, it seemed to Lot that fortune’s favors had certainly come to him.
So did it seem to the Israelites when God gave them quails, and to the later generation, when He let them have a king!
So did it to Jonah, doubtless, when he found the ship going his way to Tarshish.
But they were all mistaken…The watered plains may have looked pleasant to Lot, but they were
the way to Sodom. The quails, and the King and the ships to Tarshish would have been better
left alone. The real point is, not whether things are going our way, but whether they are
going God’s way.
Food For Thought
I would not change my blessed estate
For all the earth holds good or great
And while my faith can keep it’s hold
I envy not the sinner’s gold.

Good Morning, I received your book on Thursday, opened it yesterday after work and couldn’t
put it down. By 1:00 am this morning I finished, a VERY powerful story! I was blessed by it
and knowing you personally I could hear your voice, and had to laugh out loud in some parts.
Your message of the Love of Jesus was clear and personal and brings hope.

Also...I can't put your book down. What quick and easy reading. My 91 year old mother
was standing up in the kitchen on Sunday night reading the book about 90% through when I told
her to sit down. I am looking forward to your "Tangled Wed" when it comes out.
